Rachio Sings the Praises of Green Grass All Around – Via Boulder’s Fact & Fiction

By The Denver Egotist / /

Tis the season for yard work and higher water bills. To tout Rachio’s answer to this problem — smart lawncare and sprinkler products created for each yard’s soil makeup and sun exposure to require less water and less maintenance — Fact & Fiction rewrote a classic folk song to bring this new spot “to life.”

The “green grass all around” was more of a challenge than you might think as this summery spot was actually shot just before the first snow last fall. The agency used some bright lights and some tough-as-nails actors to pass off the drizzly 40-degree day as a warm summer afternoon. They even used some real life butterflies and ladybugs to help tell the story.

The song was written by the creative team and even sung by a Fact & Fiction copywriter. Additionally, F&F’s sister agency, IMM, designed and developed a new site for the brand. All in time for us to literally sit and watch the grass grow.
