Step away from the FAIL compilation videos and get it together, man. No, lady, five more cats will not fill that creative void. Okay, so maybe the world appreciates a Tumblr page like this, this or even this, but let’s shake off that bucket-delivered ice water and get real, shall we? Take a hard look at your idle time and evaluate what you’re doing with it.

Ladies and gentlemen of the Colorado ad community, we are issuing a call to participation. This is your creative scene. A scene filled with known and yet-to-be known talent. A place enriched with national and local brands. A destination riddled with big-name shops and agile startups. The world is waiting to see what this region creates next. Let’s deliver.

This month, we’re hosting Ad Club Committee Mixers in both Boulder and Denver. Get on the ground floor for next year’s first-ever Colorado Advertising Week. Build your book, promote great causes and work with amazing people. Rub elbows with Mixer heavy hitters like Andy Nathan and Noah Clark of Victor & Spoils, Steve Babcock of EVB, Jonathan Schoenberg of TDA, Rachael Donaldson and Tracy Broderick of Karsh Hagan, and Mike Sukle. Get introduced. Get involved. Get inspired.

It’s no secret that The Ad Club greatly influenced my career. That’s why it was so important to me to help recreate the scenario where I first got involved in the club. So, come on by and hang out. Find the opportunities and connections you’re looking for.

    Right. Anyone can help out and is welcome at the mixers, but if you join the club, you’ll be joining Ad2 (we’re sister organizations) as an under 32 year old.

    But you’ll still be able to help out with any and everything we do as joint orgs and individually!!
