Get Your Gossip Here

Another idea floated in from the ether from one of our legendary readers, and we thought we’d give it a whirl. Instead of having to go out for drinks with everyone in town to get the dirt, you can just stop in here for the latest in Denver-metro agency gossip. Drop off a rumor or pick one up. Who wants to start us off?

This is a great idea. Most of the time we go out drinking, we can’t remember any of the good gossip the next day.

oh boy, gossip with out the drinking. i can’t wait.

i withdraw my earlier comment that “what the hell were they thinking” is the weakest editorial.

Ian T Nordeck’s still in town? Someone told me they ran into him in the men’s room at the Minneapolis airport.

it was only a weekend and it’s called hands-on research…

Hmmm, the fact that no one has stepped forward with any juicy gossip may be an indication that this feature is in jeopardy. At the risk of attack for being negative, allow me to chum the waters: Has anyone heard of “agency-wide layoffs” at a certain significant local shop?

Yes, 20 people are history from McClain but I heard from an inside source it was a minor cleaning house and was needed.

does anyone have any dirt on any of the agencies looking for talent? are any of them to be avoided?

A little birdie told us McD’s may be on the outs with Karsh. Can anyone second that?

Sorry, this is Minneapolis gossip but has Carmichael lost Porsche? They had an ad in this year’s The Show book hinting as much. Too bad.

Porsche was awarded to Cramer-Krasselt in Chicago on September 5th.

Yep, Carmichael lost Porsche, but picked up Subaru without a review, and in the process doubled their billings…

Here’s a tip: advertising is a boring waste of time.

Just sort of an interesting tidbit – we did some informal focus groups with DU students for a new housing project and Michelle Kwan is apparently a student there…ice skating competition anyone?
