Colorado State University is seeking to hire a talented and dynamic Video Producer to work within the offices of University Advancement and Communications and Creative Services. The Video Producer will be the lead videographer responsible for designing and guiding projects for University Advancement, including but not limited to advising, counseling and coordinating all aspects of video production from conception through delivery. This position promotes University Advancement and its work to internal and external audiences through compelling video storytelling about donors and donor impact. The position functions both as a team member and as an independent contributor via management of estimating, coordination, content, budget, filming, timeline, editing, directing production, and delivery of University Advancement video projects. This position works in close consultation and collaboration with the Creative Services Leader Videographer. As the university’s communications efforts have increased well beyond traditional media relations, we focus on using video effectively in venues ranging from social media to television broadcast. The position participates as a team member and in regular meetings of the two units; however, work assignments will come through or be approved by University Advancement Communications.
Salary: $50,000-$55,000
