The Junior Editor Intern will provide support to Wild Manor’s post-production facility in Boulder, CO. This individual will help manage and maintain Wild Manor’s Vault and help with some editorial needs. A background in video editing is required, preferably working with Adobe and Avid products. The Junior Editor Intern must be flexible, able to handle a fluid work environment and be detail-oriented.
RESPONSIBILITIES - VAULT
• Responsible for logging and tracking all incoming files, via Aspera, FTP, or hard drive
• Responsible for maintaining and auditing inventory databases and servers
• Help define workflows and requirements for future tools/solutions development and implementation
• Responsible for closing out hard drives and shipping to client storage
RESPONSIBILITIES - EDITORIAL
• Conform and export final, online files
• Make changes to Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer projects
• Compress and upload final video assets
• Making sure all projects are closed out properly
REQUIREMENTS
• Detail-oriented and organized
• High attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Premiere Pro or Avid Media Composer
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Post-production vault experience working with physical and digital inventory is a plus
• Experience with Extreme Reach asset management
