Product Development Intern
The Kind Display Co. is a resourceful packaging company specializing in the development of custom, high-quality ASTM certified containers. (Let’s be real - We’re in the cannabis industry, folks!) Based in Denver, CO, The Kind Display Co. is a two woman operation and growing rapidly. We are currently expanding into California, Michigan and Oklahoma markets. Cannabis brands like Lazer Cat, Olio, Medicine Man and All Greens trust us to provide them with awesome packaging solutions. Think you have what it takes to work with us? We are seeking a smart, energetic, competitive and passionate Intern located in the Denver metro area. This role is part product development and part administrative with hints of design. This position will work side by side with the CEO to communicate with factories overseas, arrange and manage samples and light design work as necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Daily overseas factory communication
• Sample management: ordering, tagging, photographing, etc.
• Mapping out timelines of product development
• Packaging design work: laying out dielines, finalizing artwork for print production and sending files to customers for review
• Graphic Design: Creation of small look books, sales sheets and other marketing material
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Creative thinker and problem solver.
• Highly organized and disciplined.
• Willing to be nimble and often cover additional responsibilities.
• Must have some working experience with Adobe Illustrator & Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail
• Strongly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
