Craft images and video for a curious, engaged consumer audience. Maker of the highest-rated and best-reviewed smart sprinkler controller on the market, Rachio is searching for a graphic designer to help continuously delight our existing community, as well as draw in new consumers.
Translate your creativity into business results - there is a opportunity to tell the Rachio story through video, and this position will own the all aspects of our video marketing outreach to prospective and current consumers. In addition to video needs, you will assist our current design staff in creating content for other mediums. Expand your project management skills with the rare opportunity to develop creative assets from concept to execution for a growing startup.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Extend visual brand identity through a wide variety of mediums including packaging, print, digital, social, and display to support annual marketing plan.
- Production and editing of videos to reach prospective and current consumers across multiple channels.
- Create visual stories that are compelling, inspiring and further the Rachio brand.
- Manage multiple projects from inception to completion working with the marketing and cross-functional teams.
- Maintain design archives and documentation.
Requirements and Skills:
- Degree in graphic design or related field.
- 3-5 years graphic design and video production experience.
- Experience with digital audio/video production.
- Proficient in Adobe Suite: Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, Spark, Acrobat.
- Ability to thrive and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective written and oral communication.
- Experience with high-tech consumer goods is a plus.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams such as sales, business development and product.
- Flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges.
