Description
About the Company:
Hill Aevium is a small, fast-paced marketing and advertising agency thriving in the heart of the Rockies: the Vail Valley. Our long-standing industry experience in hospitality, tourism, and patented business tech means our team gets to promote everything we love about Colorado—skiing, mountain biking, hot springs, amazing getaways—while also reaching a global audience in the areas of medical and plastics technology. We believe that the best ideas come from walking-the-walk with our clients’ products, so we’re all about getting out of the cubicle and getting inspired while having fun.
About the Role:
We need a driven, collaborative, personable, and reliable Account Manager (AM) to support our agency growth. This position will be responsible for the long-range planning and day-to-day management of several clients. You will work closely with the Director of Client Services and act as a mentor/teacher to the Account Coordinator. The AM’s ultimate responsibility is to collaborate internally and externally to delight clients with strategic, timely and proactive work.
Core responsibilities include:
Oversee the day-to-day operation of each assigned account, provide long-term planning and vision, and make sure projects/work is delivered on time, in-scope, and on-budget
Be proactive about maintaining client relationships and meeting client/agency goals
Project planning, scheduling, and reporting
Writing creative briefs, project roadmaps, and statements of work with input from relevant team members
Mapping your client’s annual marketing budget to a marketing plan, and monitoring the execution of the plan and budget throughout the year
Forecasting incoming work and collaborating with the team to make realistic schedules
Participating in regular account health meetings and working with the Director of Client Services to problem solve challenges as they arise
100% ownership of your clients: projects, relationships, and vision
Desired Experience
This is a mid-level position. Previous agency experience is a plus, as is a high level of ownership, professionalism, and excellent communication skills.
Bachelor’s in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
2-5 years of previous agency or client-side marketing experience
Demonstrated knowledge of marketing strategy and process, digital marketing (social, website, online partnerships), and account management best practices
Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements
Serious skills in communication, organization, and teamwork
Willingness to have hard conversations and collaborate to solve problems
Familiarity with digital tools such as Asana and Slack
