Position Description

BLDG is currently seeking a Marketing Associate. The Marketing Associate supports the Marketing Manager in executing strategic/tactical marketing plans and overseeing the daily administrative marketing tasks for our portfolio of properties. This position will also assist with the marketing responsibilities/initiatives for BLDG Management and BMC Investments. This individual will report directly to the Marketing Manager.

Essential Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing initiatives for BLDG’s portfolio of multifamily properties
• Design and/or manage the development of graphic requests, creative, collateral and promotional pieces
• Advance and manage digital communications including website content, social media channels and e-newsletters
• Create monthly and quarterly reports on the portfolio’s marketing engagement, performance of websites, lead management tools, reputation management and other marketing programs
• Evaluate performance of marketing campaigns and resources. Lead marketing and digital data analytics to make strategic and data-driven decisions
• Serve as the marketing team liaison to each of the onsite property teams, including training onsite employees on marketing initiatives and conducting monthly check-ins
• Work with marketing manager to identify areas of opportunity in leasing life-cycle and make data driven recommendations to improve outcomes
• Launch and maintain accurate Internet Listing Services for all properties
• Keeps up to date with current design methodologies and industry marketing trends
• Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget expectations

Qualifications:

• 2+ Years of relevant marketing experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related field preferred
• Knowledge of multifamily operations and industry-related marketing concepts and terms preferred
• Proven project management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple marketing initiatives/priorities simultaneously
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Experience implementing social media strategies and campaigns
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, possessing the ability to interact with all levels of personnel
• Ability to analyze marketing data and make recommendations
• Experience with design of marketing materials
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and graphic design skills strongly desired
• Experience with Entrata preferred
