The Social Media Manager role is structured as an account management role within the Social Media team. This person will be meticulous, have strong attention to detail, and be able to follow and uphold processes to ensure quality output across all clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in paid social media publishing and campaign management within a fast-paced agency setting.

In addition, a passion for behavior change and social responsibility is a must.

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communication, business management or related field
• 3-4 years of experience within an advertising agency, digital agency, or public relations agency
• Extensive experience in social media paid advertising, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube, Vimeo, LinkedIn,
• Excellent writing and grammatical skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work across various teams
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines

• Assist in the management of day-to-day social media campaigns across all clients
• Manage campaign reporting trackers, analyze and report on campaign performance across all clients and campaigns
• Manage campaign budgets and monthly client invoicing
• Own daily/weekly hotlist and timelines for social media team (ensure team is clear on key campaign dates and to do’s)
• Assist in the development of social media briefs, campaign recap reports, media plans and new business pitches
• Assist Social Media Coordinator to troubleshoot ad errors, reporting discrepancies, and delivery issues, communicate with account services team when issues occur with updated timelines and recommendations
• Conduct analysis of social media data across multiple campaigns and platforms, providing client-facing recommendations on campaign optimization
• Support creative team in providing ad specs, content direction and best practices
• Assist in the development of social media strategies
• Identify opportunities to improve campaign performance, including analysis on creative and ad placement performance
• Monitor social media trends and interpret impact on audience behavioral shifts relevant to client business; relate changes to appropriate account team members, and provide insights and recommendations
• Research the latest social media trends to keep our agency ahead of digital trends, assist in the development of the agency’s monthly social media trend report
• Manage projects, process, and people (mentor junior staff and interns)
• Manage relationships with reps, vendors and media partners
• Other reasonable duties as assigned

• The ideal candidate is highly organized with strong attention to detail who thrives in an energetic, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
• Experience publishing paid ads on Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, Vimeo and YouTube
• Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, DCM, Push Spring, and Sprout Social, or other social media management and data audience tools
• Strong analytical skills; must be proficient in analyzing and interpreting social media data with the ability to quickly pattern spot and surface actionable insights
• Experience distilling data into simple KPIs and data visualizations / dashboards / scorecards
• Experience writing clear and concise presentations, summarizing data insights, outcomes and implications in a straightforward and enlightening way for clients and account teams
• Ability to collaborate and work well with others
• Possess an ever-changing knowledge of social media best practices
• Agency experience and/or experience working with multiple accounts simultaneously
• Ability to manage daily workload and meet concurrent deadlines on multiple projects
• Ambition and drive to produce high quality work for clients
