In a perfect world, inspiration, creativity and drive would come from sunsets, long walks on the beach and sushi. In reality many creatives operate and succeed as a direct result of hardship, pressure or just plain old self doubt. In this talk comedian, actor and musician, Ben Roy will discuss ( among many other things) how struggle, despair, and a low esteem has been turned into a super power or at least a motivational force that moves him forward every day.

About Ben:
Ben Roy is a comedian, actor and musician. Heavily tattooed, and known for his “spittle-flecked rants” on stage, Roy has been compared to Bill Hicks and Lewis Black. Roy is a member of The Grawlix, a trio of Denver comedians who do live and web based shows. He also starred on the TruTV show Those Who Can’t. He also fronts the Denver punk band Spells.
