TIME COMMITMENT: Minimum 8 hours per week
SALARY: Unpaid – applicants MUST receive college credit
DESCRIPTION:
We’re looking for a motivated student to participate in the day–to-day operations of our company. This internship is an opportunity to learn about the inner workings of a startup and what it takes to get it off the ground. The intern will have exposure to all areas of the organization such as operations and logistics, marketing, PR, creative development, strategy and more. Our ultimate goal is for the intern to learn a lot and have fun.
DUTIES + RESPONSIBLITIES:
• Take part in brainstorming and strategy sessions
• Assist with digital marketing
• Assist with photo shoots and content creation
• Assist with research projects
• Assist with database and inventory management
• Assist with archiving, storage management, and in-house event planning
• Assist with mailing and shipments
• Conduct a variety of general administrative tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and research skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Desire to learn about startup life
• A self-starter – you don’t need your hand held
• Trustworthy – if you said you spellchecked something, you actually did
• You aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty and no task is beneath you – this is a startup afterall 🙂
• Creativity and an interest in home décor and entertaining is a plus but not required
