JOB DESCRIPTION
Our new business developer will respond to, and prospect for new business leads. You will establish relationships with potential partners, manage the pitch and proposal process, and cultivate the foundation of long-term, successful partnerships.

• You are a hunter – you know how to connect with prospects, arrange meetings, and deliver our solutions in a thoughtful fashion that solves the client’s business needs
• You are driven – naturally curious with a penchant for problem-solving
• You are a people person – easily able to authentically connect and communicate with potential partners over the phone, video calls and in-person
• You are highly talented – self-motivated, a doer, a seeker, and shown proven success throughout multiple facets of your life (not just work)
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You can travel on occasion and are comfortable running a meeting in front of executives
• You have an obsessive attention to detail
• You have strong time-management skills and are capable of resolving challenges quickly
• You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and unscripted environment
• You are mentally flexible, open-minded, intellectually sharp, and can think fast on your feet
• You are a collaborator
• You have industry experience (though not required)
• You have experience working in Adobe InDesign and Keynote
• You are professional in appearance and style – capable of representing Moxie Sozo to everyone you encounter
• You can hold your breath for 3 minutes, run a 4-minute mile, wiggle your ears, do more pushups than our pencil-pushing CFO, or any multitude of talents.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Respond to all incoming leads
• Outreach to potential partners that could benefit from our suite of services
• Attend networking opportunities within the community and elsewhere
• Leverage prior relationships and experience to uncover potential opportunities
• Maintain up-to-date CRM
• Manage contract negotiations
• Allocate time to improving and learning new negotiation strategies and tactics
• Establish and evolve internal best practices
• Coordinate internal teams as needed for pitches and proposals
• Clearly translate new business details to the Accounts team when onboarding new partners
• Maintain relationships beyond earning business
• Be a closer
