What you’ll do:

The Marketing Specialist will the day-to-day activities of the marketing department related to bringing new campaigns to market in order to drive awareness, engagement and new customers to Pinnacol. The candidate must be able to multi-task, manage many details, be responsive, a strong communicator and proven team player. The Marketing Specialist will also support the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) with some administrative tasks on as needed basis.

This role will report into the Brand and Marketing Director.

Google Analytics, WordPress, Drupal, Salesforce, Asana and Slack

What you can expect:

Assist with overall marketing strategy development and implementation through cross-functional team collaboration, including planning, performance tracking, and post-promotion debriefs to inform planning for future promotional efforts.

Working with department directors, manage creative execution of integrated marketing campaigns once creative strategy is approved. Develop timelines, work with internal partners and vendors to ensure timely, accurate and efficient execution through delivery of creative to media channels.

Keep abreast of industry trends and competitive positioning, products, and marketing activities to regularly inform team of noteworthy items and opportunities

Assist in the overall agency briefing and management process from which new marketing (e.g. advertising, collateral, PR, social) campaigns and materials are developed

Work with Brand Director to ensure brand standards are upheld on materials touching key audiences

Maintains library of creative assets and imagery

Ability to translate brand to UX and CX

Stays up-to-date on latest trends in technology, development, websites, and competitor activity

Identifies opportunities to refine or define new processes needed to facilitate flawless execution of marketing tactics

Occasionally support Chief Marketing Officer on an administrative level including, but not limited to: scheduling meetings, booking travel, completing expense reports, etc.

What you’ll bring to the table:

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Business or similar field. Relevant work experience (similar kind of work at a similar level of work as described in the essential duties) may be substituted for the bachelor's degree. Completion of a degree is encouraged and supported.

2 or more years of experience working in an advertising or digital agency

Experience with: Google Analytics, WordPress, Drupal, and Salesforce

Familiarity with HTML and CSS code

Understanding of advertising and digital marketing competencies including brand frameworks, market research, social practices, SEO and SEM

Experience writing creative briefs and managing project budgets

Strong attention to detail

Builds trust and collaboration among people, teams and departments

Able to communicate in both written and verbal form with credibility, adapting message to suit level of audience. Communicates with poise, polish and professionalism.

Ability to identify problems and create new, innovative solutions

Ability to effectively multi-task and manage competing priorities

The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing conditions
