The Graphic Designer will be responsible for the concept, design and production of all marketing and advertising materials for Spectrum Retirement’s in-house ad agency which plans, places and creates its own marketing, advertising and public relations communications.

Graphic Designer Job Responsibilities:
¨ Creation of all marketing and advertising deliverables – print and display ads, flyers, web pages, brochures, signage, direct mail, logos, collateral, etc.
¨ Collaborate with the creative team to develop concepts and designs for marketing and advertising communications for all Spectrum Retirement communities
¨ Brand Stewardship – adhere to and maintain Spectrum brand standards across all marketing and advertising communications
¨ Work with the Creative Services Director to make necessary edits and obtain creative approvals
¨ Effectively communicate and develop professional relationships with Spectrum Retirement communities and corporate office team members
¨ Asset/image library maintenance
¨ Photo and copy editing. Some copy writing
¨ Prepare and send art files to clients and vendors
Graphic Designer Job Requirements:
¨ Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
¨ Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
¨ Good working knowledge of WordPress
¨ Minimum 3 years of professional design experience
¨ Impressive portfolio (URL preferred) must be submitted with application to be considered
¨ Must be able to communicate, collaborate and flourish in an interdisciplinary team
¨ Strong verbal and written communication skills
¨ Ability to work efficiently with a high attention to detail
¨ Ability to interact in a professional manner in person, on the phone and via email
¨ Exceptional time management, self-sufficiency and resourcefulness
¨ Ability to manage multiple daily deliverables
¨ Self-motivated, organized and professional. Ability to work with minimum supervision with a problem-solving attitude
¨ Have a neat, professional, courteous manner and appearance
Graphic Designer Educational Requirements:
¨ Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in a relevant discipline preferred, or a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design required
