We are seeking someone passionate about media that is driven by hard work and happy clients and coworkers rather than just a paycheck. We need an experienced Media Coordinator that is familiar with all media types. Top candidates will have the following traits and abilities:
• One to three years experience specifically in media
• Thorough research skills
• Creative thinker
• Ability to work with multiple planner-buyers on a variety of clients with tight deadlines
• Experience with media buying software (we use STRATA)
• Understanding of media research tools and ratings services
• Very strong Microsoft Office skills
• Extreme attention to detail
• Comfortable working alone one day and juggling projects with six people the next
• Positive attitude, especially when under pressure
• In-charge presence while still being a team player
• Desire to help shape the company and grow with us
• Open communication style, comfortable with a totally transparent culture
• Hard worker, career oriented, in media for the long haul
• Excellent interpersonal and social skills
• Fast and always with quality results
• Media rock star
• Exposure to media buying/experience in buying is a plus
Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Create insertion orders for clients
• Enter broadcast avails into buying software (View32)
• Create and manage spec and deadline sheets
• Traffic creative
• Market research and analysis
• Kantar competitive analysis
• Reconcile discrep broadcast invoices (Radio, TV, Cable)
• Help facilitate and manage campaign recaps for clients
• Assist with digital campaign reporting and analysis (we use DCM)
• Assist on media buying
• Assist on paid search and reporting – Google certified is a plus!
• Contribute to internal social media efforts
This is a full-time position to be filled as soon as we find the right candidate. This is not an entry-level position – some experience is mandatory.
