Denver, CO - You are a highly talented copywriter who knows how to tell a brand story through amazing concepts and great copy that gets people talking, attracts new customers, and engages our current community. As we grow a highly effective and results-driven Creative Team, we need a strong leader — someone to evangelize our vision and purpose, strategizing and overseeing work that is customer-focused and brings to life the Artifact Uprising Brand. You are aware of emerging trends and best practices to push our brand in an innovative direction. You are collaborative, highly communicative, and able to build strong relationships with stakeholders. You will inspire, develop, and collaborate with team members. We have a unique brand and are looking for you to help us build and evolve where A|U can go.
In this Senior Copywriter role, you will support Artifact Uprising’s Creative Director in building a thoughtful brand that our customers love. You will be a double threat, both in concepting copy and leading others to execute impactful creative that drives results. In this role, you’ll also have the opportunity to work cross-functionally to help see company-wide strategic initiatives across the line.
The Day-to-Day
- Manage and develop internal and external copywriters, developing them to be “big-concept,” strategically, and commercially minded
- Work on a variety of projects, big and small, and oversee production from concept to completion — ensuring work is on-brief, on-brand, and that best practices are followed and optimized across all mediums
- Protect and build on A|U’s unique, intentional, and encouraging brand DNA
- Take an analytical approach to impactful creative/copywriting
- Help find, manage, and copy edit outside talent as needed
Qualifications
- 6+ years of copy experience in e-commerce and marketing with a Brand Team or an agency
- You’ve worked across multiple channels/mediums, including UI/UX and product-focused copywriting
- Note: candidates without a portfolio will not be considered
