Summary
COHN is looking for the best and brightest content producers to become an integral part of our team and gain industry-leading skills from our fully-integrated marketing and PR agency. Our interns get real-world experience by applying their skills and creativity to ongoing projects and get the opportunity to see their work appear in campaigns across the nation. We require a minimum of 15 hours a week, but interns are welcome and encouraged to put in as much work as they would like to get back in experience.
Skills You Will Leave With
Experience working with a variety of different kinds of clients and industries
Knowledge of the ins and outs of working in an agency environment
Knowledge of project and asset management
Experience developing and executing strategic marketing plans
Deepened knowledge of social media marketing and the communications industry
Experience analyzing performance data and reporting meaningful metrics
Develop business acumen
Duties + Responsibilities
Create monthly content plans for clients including sourcing images/videos as well as writing engaging copy
Conceptualize and create social media graphics using Canva
Stay up to date on social trends and national holidays
Research relevant hashtags and identify key influencers
Schedule monthly content plans
Monitor key analytics and develop monthly performance reports
Qualifications
Understanding of different social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Youtube, etc.)
Understanding of social media and how to create engaging copy/imagery
Experience using Canva or similar content curation platforms
Experience using a content scheduling and management system
Possess strong writing/proofreading skills
Creativity and a visual eye for design
Detail-oriented and organized worker
Able to work both autonomously and within a team setting
Status Classification: Non-Exempt
Salary Range: $16.00 hour
