Your DescriptionI'm a graphic designer and photographer based out of Lakewood, Colorado with a BA in Visual Communications from Colorado Technical University. Since 2009 I have been feeding my passion working as a photographer and freelance designer. While designing, I often found myself underwhelmed by stock photography and could never quite find the imagery I was looking for. I realized that if I could really learn photography, I could shoot the imagery I needed for projects. This was the beginning of my photography career, shooting portraits, real estate and commercial work. While I was searching for an opportunity in graphic design, I took on a number of freelance projects, ranging from photo editing, book design, catalog design, logos, desktop publishing, and an animated presentation demonstrating a complex scientific process. In April 2015 I started my working for Flagship Biosciences, initially in a contract position to help the scientists with report and presentation creation. Soon after, I moved in to a full time position with the goal of revamping the company image to compliment their growing size and relate better to their higher end clientele. While at Sanitas Skincare I was responsible for providing full-service multimedia and graphic support which includes designing, producing, enhancing, converting, editing of graphics and multimedia utilizing up to date tools and software. This encompassed graphic design, photography, videography, web management, conceptualization and other related duties. Most recently, I had the pleasure of designing a book and supporting materials for RJ Kern’s fine art project, The Unchosen Ones. I've enjoying getting a contributors credit in the Communication Arts July/August 2018 Photo Annual and the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston acquired the COLLECTOR’S EDITION of The Unchosen Ones for their public collection!
