Hi! I’m Allison Heistand-Phelps — illustrative designer. In my discipline, I work to harmoniously amplify the worlds of graphic design, illustration, art, psychology, and feminism. My practice merges deep care, compassion, intuition, skill, passionate research to develop work that fits successfully for your brand and/or your clients. I practiced feminist trauma-informed relational-cultural art therapy and was in the mental health profession for nearly 10 years. My aim in each design or illustration is to empathize deeply with viewers, so my overall practice is to guide and influence design thinking with each brand’s professional and clients’ personal aspirations and needs.
