Watch Nearly 2000 Consumers React In Real-Time To Nike’s Kaepernick Ad

This is incredible to watch – real-time reactions to Nike’s Colin Kaepernick commercial. And it shows Boomers (red) and Gen X (yellow) take major drops in approval when the lightning rod QB comes on the screen. Gen Z (white) and Millennials (blue) take Kap’s appearance in stride.

Overall, 39 percent of Americans said they had a very positive opinion of the ad, compared to just 9 percent who had a negative opinion. It’s interesting to take a look at the breakdowns – like black vs white and by political party. The summary? Nike wins with the people they care about.

Boomers? WTF! What happened to Woodstock, peace marches, bra burning, fighting for equal rights? I thought I was part of a generation of change! I am disappointed to learn that my generational sisters and brothers are so conservative.

I applaud and pledge my loyalty to Nike.

The mega-national corporation that employs sweatshops and child labor appreciates your loyalty, Jane.
