:: Independent Denver/Brooklyn creative agency Madwell has been named Agency of Record for high-end electronics brand Denon after a competitive pitch. Denon has been the world’s leading manufacturer of premium home entertainment and personal audio products since 1910, and specializes in A/V receivers, headphones, and wireless speaker systems including soundbars and subwoofers. The first global brand campaign work will break in the second half of 2022.

:: Full-service independent Boulder brand marketing accelerator, Fortnight Collective, announced it’s been named Agency of Record for Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation. With its roots as a ranching community, the resort is famously dubbed “Ski Town, U.S.A.” and is home to over 400 active ranches, activities for the full family as well as being responsible for producing 100 Olympians (and counting).

:: Denver’s Common Good, formerly LRXD, the original health and happiness agency, has named Jenna Capobianco as executive creative director and Brent Marcus as VP-Strategy. Capobianco will lead the charge in the creative department as she takes the helm as the agency’s first ECD. Marcus will lead the strategy department, continuing to grow the agency’s branding services and working with creative and media teams to develop fully integrated campaigns.

:: Denver-based Booyah Advertising announced that CEO Troy Lerner has been named an Entrepreneur Of The Year 2022 Mountain West Award Finalist. Troy was selected as a finalist by a panel of independent judges based on entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, growth and impact — among other core contributions and attributes. Regional winners will be considered to win a national award this fall, and a national winner will be considered for the global award in June 2023.

:: Denver creative agency Cactus has added Kelly Rowntree as its new Chief Strategy Officer. Rowntree brings to Cactus a career of achievement in global strategy for some of the world’s biggest brands including Sleep Number, Domino’s, Subaru, and Vrbo. She has held strategic leadership roles at agencies Crispin Porter & Bogusky, Carmichael Lynch and Campbell Mithun. Prior to joining Cactus, Rowntree was co-CEO and Director of Strategy at Griffin Archer, Minneapolis, MN.
