Brands + April Fool’s 2010

 

By The Denver Egotist / / Considering that the economy’s still in the shitter (or at least just under the toilet rim), it was incredible to witness the amount of money and effort spent by brands yesterday on their April Fool’s gags. AdAge has a nice rundown if you care to check it out, with readers dropping plenty of comments to other stunts to round out the list. (And here’s a grand daddy list from TechCrunch.) Here are two more of our favorites that they missed. BTW, the gag from Denver’s Amélie Company was just that – although we saw plenty of tweets (as well as a link on Westword) from people wondering otherwise. And one non-brand for good measure.
