Hot Off the Press: ‘Living the Flipside’ Coffee Table Book on India – Via Denver Art Director Elliott Asbury

By The Denver Egotist / /

In 2018, Elliott Asbury left his cushy Boulder agency life to join his wife on a two-year assignment to New Delhi. Because he didn’t have a work visa, he turned his newfound free time into a creative sabbatical, publishing a photography and travel blog for the India expat community. The project was a success, and when he returned back to the U.S., he was looking for a way to memorialize the experience and share a more tangible record of their whacky foreign life with his readers. After hundreds of hours of layout, copyediting, proofing and re-fact-checking, Elliot came away with a hefty 452-page coffee table book full of four-color double trucks, pull quotes and sidebars. In all his years of creative work, this is the one piece he’s proudest of. Learn more and get your own copy here.
