The Entire Town of “South Park” Attends Sunday’s Broncos Game

Along with 5,700 human fans who hit last week’s game, 1,800 two-dimensional characters were in attendance from Comedy Central’s “South Park.” Fittingly, the cardboard cutouts occupied the upper level of the south stands clad in masks. “South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone grew up in Colorado and are avid Broncos fans, and the action was part of a charity stunt — in which Comedy Central matched the costs of the cutouts and donated it to Denver Broncos Charities. Cutouts were previously made available for purchase by fans at a cost of $100 apiece. At that price, Comedy Central donated $180,000 to the non-profit, philanthropic arm of the team, which is committed to improving lives in the Denver community.
