Keen social listening by Burger King partner agencies Publicis Latvia and MullenLowe U.S. unveiled a video posted to YouTube in which Tesla’s self-driving navigational system confused a Burger King sign for a stop sign and slowed the vehicle to a stop. BK played it off as though this is actually a “smart” feature of the car and invited people to recreate the same reaction in their own cars, film it and post it to social to get a free Whopper. Great stunt.
