Flower Carpet Time Lapse in Brussels

The Flower Carpet — a biennial event in Brussels in which volunteers compose a 19,000-square-foot, floral rug out of one million begonias in the central square — is canceled for 2020. This video was shot by Joerg Daiber of Spoon Film in 2018 who had plans to release it for this year’s festival. Instead, he’s decided to release it now to make us all feel doubly bummed we’re stuck inside. Let’s plan a trip, though, shall we?
