Studio Lo, the creative office of Larry Olson, wrote, art directed and directed this launch video for Boulder start up called Sunday. Sunday is a new and easy lawn care service. They use national soil and climate data to determine what your lawn needs and when it needs it. Your tailored lawn nutrients packs are then delivered right to your door.
The goal of the vid was to get people to like Sunday. The founders are good people that came up with a good idea. So Studio Lo wanted to have their personalities come through. So, they embraced the imperfection of blown takes and stock footage and broke the 4th wall to mess with the traditional storytelling tropes.
