The agency took it a step further in building an Alexa Skill, so every Village Inn fan can order breakfast in the future from the comforts of their own bed. Users can create a profile at VillageInn.com that they can link the alarm clock to. Once the Alexa Skill is set up, all users have to do is say: “Alexa, tell Village Inn I want my breakfast.”
“Village Inn might have old fashioned hospitality, but it can still be a modern brand that leverages technology to make people’s experiences better,” said Matt Talbot, Partner Creative at WorkInProgress. A video-based campaign was created to support the launch of online ordering and delivery. The spots show Village Inn’s delivery services coming to the rescue in familiar situations.
