Marking its 40th anniversary as the world’s largest honor for video and television content across all screens, The Telly Awards has announced this year’s winners. In the branded content category, standout Denver-based winners include Hidden Woods Media for “Fueled” — a spot about athlete Robby Balenger undergoing a plant-based diet to run across America, as well as HaveyPro Cinema for “Written in Water” — a documentary celebrating Denver Water’s 100 years of service.
The 2019 awards also introduced the coveted Telly Company of the Year, which was nabbed by CBS Interactive for its years of achievement across platforms with video content from its numerous properties: Chowhound, “The Late Night Show with Stephen Colbert,” CNET and many more. Recognizing the shift from broadcast to digital platforms, the Telly Awards expanded their categories to include VR, Branded Content and Social Streaming, with entries evaluated by industry powerhouses such as Droga5, Condé Nast, Vimeo, Ryot and more.
