Dream Tree and Boulder’s Fortnight Collective Try to Increase Millennial Voter Participation

By The Denver Egotist / /

Here’s our second video of the day seeking to get people out to the polls this year. The prescription ad spoof, created by Dream Tree Film & Productions in collaboration with Fortnight Collective, pushes Voter RX (known by its generic name, “voting”) as the key to alleviating inactive citizenship, chronic apathy and, most importantly, ‘electile dysfunction.’

As much as a cliche and trope this concept is, I kinda like it. Well-written and they pulled it off with some decent actors. I like the digs at the right and the left here. However, there's about a 0.1% chance it will inspire any voting from those who don't (looking at you, young Millennials). Republicans might have a young people problem, but Democrats have an old people problem because they actually vote. They way it's always been and will always be. This ain't gonna change shit. Just saying. p.s. Remember TDA's "Democrats for Trump" video boasting the idea that he'll never win a general election? Talk about an all-time backfire. Great idea, but holy shit could they have been anymore wrong? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmiwXBeO8U4 Keep it fresh, Mannie Fresh of Big Tymers p.s.s. I'm not a robot.
