The music world and advertising community lost an icon just over a month ago with the passing of Scott Roche, founder of Boulder’s Coupe Studios.

Starting his business in a backyard chicken coop in 1979, Scott’s path included rock legends like The Who, Frank Zappa and the Eagles, and eventually led to constructing the seven studio facility that today serves musicians, as well as the advertising and film industries. His impact on the local scene can’t be overstated. He mentored and was beloved by so many in the Colorado music and post production community. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, August 11th at Unity Church in Boulder at 1PM.
