Job Description
The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for program management across all facets of the AOR project process. The position requires strong organizational and problem solving skills combined with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables at the same time, while exemplifying a professional and can-do attitude within a complex and dynamic agency culture. In order to move into the Account Executive role, you will need to show a high level of success in mastering the Account Coordinator duties, proven leadership, organizational and decision-making skills.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Account Executive is the day-to-day point person for all projects and activities on the account.
Understanding of the client’s business and ability to act as an extension to their marketing department.
The Account Executive is a brand expert on their assigned account(s).
It is the Account Executive‘s responsibility to ensure effective/efficient account operations within the agency environment.
Day-to-day management of all aspects of the account including strategy, creative and production are paramount to excel in this position.
The Account Executive is expected to carry out the daily account activities, but also think and act strategically on behalf of the client.
The Account Executive can work independently on assigned projects, keeping supervisor informed as needed, exhibiting good judgment and decision-making skills.
Responsible for driving projects forward.
Develop strategic and complete estimates and creative briefs for new projects.
Solicit and understand client feedback on all jobs and create feedback documents to provide to traffic accordingly.
He/she must be a mentor/teacher to the Account Coordinator(s).
Responsible for growing client relationships
