Rate: $35-$50 DOE

Job Description:
A South Denver-based company is looking for a Product Designer with UX experience to join their team onsite, 40 hours a week, ongoing for 12+ months.

This Product Designer will join an internal design team focused on the user journey and will focus on information architecture, user flows and wireframes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- UX Design - be a consumer advocate, design information architecture, synthesize user flows and creates wireframes; help to define KPI for various products and services

-Visual Design - produce high quality UI elements and design patterns from the perspective of color, typography, space, interactivity, visual hierarchy; creates low, medium and/or high fidelity UI solutions, and work with Design leads to finalize the UI assets

-Universal Design - help to design great products that consider the full range of human diversity with respect to ability, language, culture, gender, age, disabilities and other forms of human difference

- Engineering, Product & Design - unify workflows between these three; understand the cross-disciplinary, functional alignment in product design, and is able to support all key contributors at all stages — ideation, design, asset delivery and post-launch support

MUST HAVES:
-3-5 years UX/UI design experience (with portfolio)
-Experience with common product design tools (Sketch, Axure, Zeplin, Invision, Adobe CS, Jira (or equivalent))
-Basic understanding of product design best practices
-Ability to create wireframes, user flows, and process flows within consumer applications
-Understanding of platform specific nomenclature
-Ability to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage product design work
-Ability to design high-fidelity prototypes
-Strong presentation and communication skills, and the ability to “sell” ideas to various audiences, technical and non-technical
-Experience with project estimation
-Experience with research-driven, iterative product design

This is an onsite, ongoing, 40 hours a week freelance opportunity in South Denver.
