Creative Services Director: The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) is accepting applications for the position of Creative Services Director. The Creative Services Director is a member of the marketing leadership team reporting to the VP of Marketing & Sales. The role oversees the internal creative agency responsible for the creation and production of DCPA brand and marketing campaigns and is accountable for brand oversight, creative strategy, campaign concepting and execution, and the creative quality of customer-facing communications. Just as important, the position is responsible for the processes and people who make it happen. Direct oversight of Creative Services team includes graphic design, copywriting, and video production resources.

Primary responsibilities include:
• Lead creative development and stewardship of the DCPA organizational brand and DCPA divisional brands
• Build and execute creative marketing campaigns in partnership with various internal clients and stakeholders (ticket sales, subscription, education, fundraising, branded content, etc.)
• Lead creative development of Theatre Company, Off Center, Cabaret and other show-specific identities as needed
• Work in partnership with Marketing Insights and Technology team on creative development of website and digital campaigns (e.g.,, microsites, weekly/monthly email communications)
• Lead brainstorming and creative concept development for new marketing efforts
• Provide direction and support for all marketing-related design, copywriting, and video production
• Act as creative advisor and sounding board to organization at large
• Stay current on effective marketing trends (creative, strategy, etc.)
• Lead professional development of Creative Services team members
• Review creative work to ensure consistency with brand guidelines and quality control
• Partner with marketing leadership team members to foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and respect

Requirements Include:
• Bachelor’s degree plus minimum 10 years of experience developing creative brand/marketing campaigns, preferably within agencies or large internal marketing teams, or equivalent experience
• Minimum five years of experience leading creative teams
• Strong working knowledge of brand development and creative process
• Proven ability to lead development of creative concepts for integrated campaigns
• Strong working knowledge of fundamentals of design, copywriting, and video production
• An innovative, creative and strategic thinker

• Willingness to roll up sleeves and jump in to help at any stage of a project, no matter how large or small
