Bayne joins VJ with over a decade of experience on diverse brands including Samsung, Verizon, Visa, AT&T, Toyota, Oreo, Budweiser, IKEA, Tylenol, Degree, Smirnoff, DirecTV and others. Bayne’s hire and Gore’s promotion come on the heels of VJ’s talent additions and shifts to many disciplines critical to successful client programs, including insight, creative, digital, media planning, and account management. According to their LinkedIn profiles, previous agency ECDs Matt Ingwalson and Jennifer Hohn are now freelancing.
“The best work is the result of great creative combined with tangible strategic insights and deep knowledge of clients’ businesses,” said Cody Gore, VJ’s new director of account service who has worked at all levels of account service since joining the company 13 years ago. “I’m humbled to lead, serve and continue doing great things for the agency and our clients.”
At VJ, Gore has supported for agency clients, exceeded his clients’ business goals, mentored strong account teams and led some of the agency’s largest clients, including Otter Products, Xcel Energy, Colorado Springs Utilities, Snowmass Tourism, Black Hills Energy and State of Nebraska Tourism Commission.
“This is a pivotal moment for our agency,” said Meredith Vaughan, CEO of VJ. “Simultaneously, we are welcoming a tenured individual who will inspire and challenge us and our clients in ways we don’t yet know are possible and promoting a remarkable professional whom we’ve nurtured from the very beginning, who’s always striving to be better. We look forward to the time ahead.”
