This position, under direction of the Community Marketing Manager assists with the Visit Golden program. Produces content, posts to social media, updates databases, improves user experience on visitgolden.com, assists in event planning, and creates and executes email campaigns. Will be required to work some evenings and weekends.
High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising or related field preferred. Experience in Communications, Marketing, or social media role preferred.
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills. Proficient in use of Windows and Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of Adobe Suite products is preferred. Must be able to work independently. Demonstrated knowledge and use of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube required. Photography and videography skills preferred.
Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record.
