Wick Creative, one of Denver’s fastest growing web & marketing agencies, is looking for a Shopify Website Developer and Designer to join its growing team of talented and passionate designers and developers.
Wick Creative specializes in the design and development of Shopify websites for growth-focused companies. The core driver of their success has been the creative talent of a small team of designers and developers. As a Creative Website Developer & Designer, you will work closely with the owner of the company to help visualize and implement strategic design and development of websites and digital marketing campaigns
This is a great place to work with a fun, family-like culture and environment. The office is located in downtown Denver right across from Union Station and is lively with music, sports streaming, Friday outings, office parties, and much more.
DAILY ACTIVITIES INCLUDE (but not limited to…):
Creating beautiful & smart website design that’s on strategy in a well-organized PSD file
Working with Creative Director to define opportunities & strategy
Writing hand-coded HTML/CSS Shopify Themes
Attention to detail (visual consistency, browser testing, validation, load times)
Working with jQuery and other various libraries and framework
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
3-7 years of design/development experience
Ability to code a theme from scratch in Shopify
Experience with bootstrap framework.
Strong HTML5 / CSS3 / Javascript & JQuery skills
Take Ownership of your work
Creative problem solving & Resourcefulness
Ability to handle a project with minimal aid or direction
Ability to work as an individual and as a team member
Requirement Note:
This position is for a designer/developer; candidates must be able to design and code, not just design. You must know liquid code, Adobe Creative Suite, and have experience designing, developing and launching sites on Shopify.
PAY & BENEFITS:
Competitive salary $50-80k (DOE)

Hours are 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, M-F (you will be kicked out if you try to work too late!)
