What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a Creative Intern who doesn’t settle, someone who is a interested in making digital and social media content that doesn’t suck. The Creative Intern will assist in generating ideas, creating assets (through Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and learning what a graphic designer and art director does at our agency. While not required, the Creative Intern will be given the opportunity to write copy, work on strategy, help in building client presentations, dabble in photography and seek out tasks that spark his/her interest within the business.

The ideal candidate will be able to commit between 10 - 15 hours per week at our office in downtown Denver.

What We’re Offering:

This isn’t one of those “go get coffee for everyone” internships. It’s an opportunity to get legitimate hands on experience, learning from various people throughout the agency, (like the Art Director, Copywriter, and Creative Director to name a few).

For the right fit, this role has the opportunity to become a full-time position. As a student, we understand you have other obligations, so we’re willing to work with you to create a weekly recurring schedule.

The Creative Intern will report to two seasoned staff members (art director and copywriter) who are eager mentor.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Create assets using appropriate software programs
Help build presentations
Collaborate with other creatives to brainstorm concepts and strategy
Expand job knowledge by staying up-to-date on creative publications, looking at competitors’ and other industry work, and keeping up with platform trends
Increase understanding of copywriting in digital mediums

Qualifications and Skills:

Junior / Senior Year Students
Proven art direction and design skills (portfolio or projects required)
Strong background in Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (Premiere Pro and After Effects are a plus)
Organized and responsible
Efficient in a fast-paced environment
Interest in writing copy is a plus
Experience in videography, photography and/or photo editing is a plus
