Description

The Marketing Coordinator role is an exciting, challenging and coveted position at Amélie Company. Inclusive of account service, creative, PR, sales and marketing responsibilities, this position will work with all departments within the agency. It’s an excellent avenue for exploring, practicing and defining a career path at an advertising agency. The overall goal is to assist agency leadership in attracting and securing new business for the agency through our marketing activities.

This position is inclusive of three main areas of responsibility: agency marketing, business development and RFP/pitch process management. The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Director of Business Development.

Marketing Responsibilities:

Assists in executing agency marketing plan
Coordinates awards submissions
Curates content for the agency blog and newsletter
Stays abreast of industry trends and news for inclusion in agency marketing
Manages agency profile on sites such as AdForum
Uploads agency social media content on specific sites
Communicates agency news to publications re: new campaigns/work, new hire announcements or community involvement
Assists in keeping the agency website portfolio current
Acts as project manager for internal marketing projects such as agency videos, case study videos and/or marketing campaigns
Researches, recommends and coordinates submissions for speaking opportunities
As required, aggregates analytics on agency’s owned marketing properties or channels
Conducts competitive analysis

Business Development Responsibilities:

Assists in researching prospective clients and industries
Coordinates development of sales materials
Helps to organize prospect tracker and database

RFP/Pitch Management Responsibilities:

Coordinates timelines with the production and traffic department and follows up on all deliverables to ensure timely delivery
Secures appropriate meeting rooms and supplies needed for successful meetings
Gathers content from assigned team members and flows it into the master document
Helps proof final pitch documents, presentations or leave behind documents
Assists agency’s Strategic Planner in research related activities including desktop research and/or custom research projects
Works with pitch team to facilitate rehearsals including making recordings available
Prepares the traveling pitch team which includes being in charge of the packing checklist
Helps with onboarding new clients by gathering client assets, storing them on the agency server and delivering them to the appropriate client teams

Qualifications:

4-year college degree in advertising, communications, journalism, marketing or related field
Minimum 1-2 years of advertising agency experience (or strong, relevant internship experience)
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Positive attitude, sense of entrepreneurship and ability to build relationships
