The Marketing Coordinator is a marketing generalist role that will own Rachio’s local marketing efforts, drive marketing execution of Rachio’s promotional campaigns throughout the year as well as manage our PR agency relationships. It’s an exciting role that has ownership of budgets as well as direct management of agency partners to drive top of funnel awareness and broad adoption of Rachio for consumers.

Rachio has identified key markets in the country and needs help driving consumer awareness and adoption in these markets through local marketing campaigns. This role will execute a fully integrated marketing plan that will capitalize on this opportunity and drive product adoption in the markets selected. This is a great chance to build a replicable model for local marketing and own a campaign from ideation through execution with a strong emphasis on results.

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for driving execution of Rachio’s promotional marketing campaigns. This is a great opportunity to work across the entire marketing team as well as cross-functionally to ensure Rachio’s promotional campaigns are prepared and executed in an efficient manner with buy-in across key stakeholders. This role will also have ownership of our PR agency relationships and will build a strategy for driving Rachio brand awareness through our press relationships. You could be coordinating with Wired about the latest Rachio release one day and then setting up a local Denver news interview the next - all with the support of a world-class agency partner.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Create and own integrated marketing plans with fundamental knowledge of all types of promotional activities - and the ability to select appropriate activities that best suit budget, timing and channel. Opportunity to learn and assist with digital marketing overlays.
Effectively manage marketing campaign creative development process - including writing briefs, coordinating creative needs, providing effective feedback and resolving issues.
Own PR agency relationship to collaboratively build a full-year strategy that achieves KPI’s and business goals.
Foster strong cross-functional support network, including ongoing relationships with Sales, Customer Support, Product Innovation, Creative and outside agencies.
Identify key questions that need to be answered on the business. Ability to interpret data and research findings into logical business initiatives.
Understand key P&L elements and how they are derived. Able to articulate how changes in marketing campaigns and subsequent volumes will impact business.

Requirements and Skills:
Bachelor degree; preferably in Marketing.
3+ years professional experience with proven track record in developing creative briefs, presentations, and data analysis - at a fast pace.
Excellent project management skills with experience managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders to drive to key results.
Proactive, self-motivated, organized, and a strategic thinker.
Understanding of consumer communications principles, strategy and best practices.
Experience managing a PR agency team to achieve measurable results.
Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
Experience working with cross-functional teams such as sales, business development and product.
Flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges.
Knowledge of digital marketing/ acquisition marketing a plus.
Prior event marketing experience preferred.
