ABOUT ONE K CREATIVE:
One K Creative is a boutique creative studio, specializing in telling stories of social change. Combining writing, photography, filmmaking, and graphic design, we create compelling content to expand an organization’s reach and increase their social impact. From our headquarters in Boulder, CO we serve clients around the world, including maternal health organizations in Asia, coffee cooperatives in Africa, education programs in Latin America, and organic food companies in our own backyard. We are a passionate team of creatives, working resourcefully and collaboratively across mediums to help our clients create social change.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are currently recruiting a graphic design intern with technical expertise, resourceful creativity, and social impact experience. We are looking for an eager student to support and learn from our creative director and graphic designer. Projects will include branding, illustration, layout, and web work, both print and digital expertise required. The right candidate for the position will have 1-3 years of design experience and a passion for social and environmental justice. Potential to turn into hourly paid position upon completion of the internship. Candidates identifying with minority populations are very encouraged to apply. This is an unpaid internship in exchange for portfolio building opportunities and professional experience. School credit is available.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
Professional or volunteer experience with social enterprises and/or nonprofit organizations
Front end development, competency in HTML / CSS preferred
Print and digital design experience
Branding and identity building
Technical expertise in Adobe software (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator especially)
Strong creative problem solver for start up and nonprofit clients with limited budgets
Strong internal and external communication skills
Must be able to work remotely and still meet hard deadlines
