JOB TITLE: Paid Intern Art Director
REPORTS TO: Denver Creative Director

PRIMARY FUNCTION / POSITION SUMMARY:
Intern Art Director is responsible for concept, designing, and executing innovative visual materials for various direct, events, promotional advertising projects.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Create own concepts, words and visual ideas for agency clients that are responsive to marketing/creative objectives and strategies.
• Actively work with Art Directors, Copywriters, Designers in the creation of visual solutions incorporating his concepts/ideas and the concepts/ideas of his/her team.
• Produce the final assets necessary for sending out press-ready files to vendors.
• Prepare and direct files for mock-ups and presentation boards.
• Create and document final design parameters, style guides and visual standards.
• Maintain and support all company standards as specified within the Quality Management System.
• Supports/facilitates the mandatory adherence to ISO9001 requirements, processes and procedures.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Demonstrate conceptual and design skills.
• Knowledgeable of branding and conceptual development.
• Knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and related Mac creative programs.
• Create and execute ideas in an efficient, organized way.
• Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to present ideas effectively.
• Ability to talk about your work internally.
• Ability to listen and understand client feedback and feedback from internal critiques.
• Command of Typography, Color, Composition, Hierarchy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Have physical and mental requirements to meet the above listed job responsibilities.
