Bond Pet Foods, one of the fastest growing startups in food tech and pet nutrition, is looking to round out its Brand team with a part-time Graphic Design Intern. This is a rare opportunity for the right person to help market a business that is radically changing the pet food industry by disrupting the outdated, unsustainable model of conventional agriculture.
This person will have an ambitious spirit and inspired mind with a passion for art and design. Someone who can humbly jump in and help wherever needed, because this is a startup after all. And, more tactically, someone with a strong eye for design applied to (primarily) social and digital media to help shape Bond’s brand presence.
*Responsibilities*
Brainstorm and help execute marketing programs online and off (digital ads, product and promotional videos, seasonal print promotions, etc.)
Create product and promotional assets with various manufacturing partners (e.g. hat, bag, etc. premiums for influencers and trade)
Design social media assets ex: highlight buttons, Instagram story templates, infographics etc.
Design presentation decks
Learn! A lot!
*Qualifications*
Graphic Design/Art Degree or related
Applied experience in digital design; experience with Word Press, Wood Commerce and/or Shopify a Plus
Passion for animals (pet parents preferred), with a strong desire to make a real impact
Curiosity to learn about the food tech space with a hunger to get smart about the science behind Bond
Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities autonomously
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills – a “people person” who can easily collaborate with other team members
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Able to maintain highly confidential and proprietary information and material
