The18 is looking for an ad operations specialist to join us in our Boulder office. We are seeking someone with an in-depth understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem who can play a critical role in planning, setting up and managing programmatic and direct advertising across our platforms.

This hire will manage our online advertising across platforms and help us grow and optimize our approach to ad sales over time, evolving and introducing new ad technology to keep pace with the industry and best practices.

Roles and responsibilities:
• Serve as the authority on running online ad campaigns with The18.
• Provide suggestions on ways to improve ad operations – including programmatic set up and optimization, as well as direct sold inventory.
• Launch, monitor and manage all on-site ad campaigns in Google Ad Manager.
• Assist in launching, monitoring and managing cross-platform campaigns.
• Provide proactive delivery and performance reporting updates throughout the life of campaigns, as well as recommendations for evolutions.
• Partner with leadership, sales, client relations and engineering to develop innovative strategies and executions that grow revenue over time.
• Aid in developing pricing strategies for both direct and programmatic.
• Stay educated on key developments in the changing digital advertising ecosystem (e.g viewability, brand safety, etc.) and utilize that knowledge to improve our offering, processes and reporting over time.

Qualifications

We are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded, positive and hard-working person who will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have:
• 2-4 years of ad operations experience.
• Experience working in Google Ad Manager, Connatix, Teads, Facebook Ad Manager and other similar platforms.
• Knowledge of display advertising, including real-time bidding, ad networks, DSP platforms, attribution models, third party tracking and monitoring tags and associated technologies.
• Comprehensive knowledge of campaign reporting, specifically within Google Ad Manager and across social platforms.
• Experience in troubleshooting ad serving technical issues.
• Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and web debugging tools as it pertains to digital advertising
• The ability to clearly convey technical and complex information through written and verbal communication.
• Strong aptitude for numerical detail and analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience within content management systems (Drupal preferred)

This position’s salary range is $55,000-75,000 a year.
