As a mid-level brand designer at STONE, you’ll be tasked with exploring creative solutions to branding and strategy through design. We offer a range of opportunities including but not limited to Fortune 500 brands in CPG, Brand Strategy, and Corporate Systems as well as similar solutions for challenger startups. Key Areas of Responsibility
-Work with the STONE team to ideate around, and then create, multiple projects at a time (we like multitasking pros here).
-Work as part of a team that collaborates on nearly everything to achieve the best possible results—knowing that, at times, you may be asked to complete whole deliverables on your own.
-Be willing to take on anything, at any time, and do whatever it takes to complete amazing end results.
-Continually push yourself, and those around you to do better work
-Put your ever-growing skillset to work everyday on a variety of projects.
-Stay on the bleeding edge of design trends and information regarding key STONE accounts and projects.
-Degree in graphic design or a related field strongly preferred.
-3-6 yrs years design experience at an agency (that means in addition to design school).
-Previous packaging experience is preferred
-Knowledge of printing techniques and technical files preferred
-Comfortable in both ideation and execution of strategic creative work
-Online or PDF portfolio of YOUR work that shows a variety of design styles demonstrating your attention to detail, creative thinking and knowledge of market and consumer trends.
-Exceptional communication skills and experience in presenting work
-Solid grasp of Creative Suite and an up-to-date understanding of emerging design technologies.
-Brings an unique perspective to design and isn’t afraid to take risks to deliver top tier designs
-Ability to multitask—executing projects from start to finish while meeting tight deadlines.
-A passion for collaborative work.
-Ability to work on big-picture phase 1 design-concepting all the way to later phase design finalization of files
-Illustration skills are a plus.
-An ability to contribute big ideas to creative brainstorms is not required—but it is a plus.
-Positive attitude and flexible – takes constructive criticism well.
-Adept at creating holistic branding concepts and design solutions.
-A willingness to learn and adapt with the team. Able and open to jump in on projects at various stages
