Supervising Producer

Sounds True is a multimedia publisher specializing in transformational learning and was founded in 1985. We are seeking a full-time time, relationship focused, energetic, positive, and collaborative Supervising Producer to join our Education and Program Development Department and lead our team of talented Producers. The ideal candidate possesses strong management skills and a solid background in media production.

Primary responsibilities include:
• Supervising department deliverables, day-to-day production activities, and team member schedules
• Maintaining standards of excellence in content and media creation while driving innovation and growth
• Working with the AV Production Director in tracking production budgets
• Producing several online learning programs each year
• Managing the training and ongoing support of team members
• Representing Sounds True to outside subject matter experts, clients, and vendors
• Occasional evening and weekend work may be required during production. In addition, travel to production locations is required.

Qualifications Include:
• Is highly proficient at managing others and has an genuine interest in building and maintaining a strong team
• Has video shoot production experience
• Is an expert in directing talent and creating content
• Has an aptitude for prioritizing multiple demands at once
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills
• Has 10 years of relevant industry experience and 5 years of experience managing others
• Experience in creating eLearning content and an understanding of Instructional Design and Adult Learning Theory is a plus
• An in-depth knowledge of video production, the production process, and media tools
• An understanding and interest in the content Sounds True publishes
• Proficiency in media editing platforms
• Exceptional Problem solving skills
