We’re looking for an experienced content marketer/writer who is energized by and invested in the success of our clients. We’re looking for someone who is motivated to go beyond “piece writing” to work with our team to craft integrated, complex, and rich storytelling across a variety of content formats and channels. You’ll help our clients realize significant results and meet critical business goals. And you’ll enable businesses to deliver value that goes beyond the sale.

A typical day in the life:
Strategy

Recognizing and suggesting content need/opportunity
Topic generation
Story development
Suggesting content repurposing opportunities
Recommending content updates/replacements
Recommending campaign opportunities
Developing campaign elements
Content and program development

Content project capture (e.g., during update meetings)
Content project definition/scope, planning, outlines, and timing
Updating and maintaining content calendars and project tracking
Curating topics for ongoing programs such as blogs and trade publication programs
Resource discovery, curation, and topic research
Participating in client discovery calls, SME interviews, and program planning
Writing marketing content

Blogs
Website pages
Brochures
Data sheets
White papers
Case studies
Ads—digital, display, retargeting, social (LinkedIn), InMail, conversation
Video scripts
Emails—offer, drip series, nurture series
Landing pages
Social posts
Teasers, promos, and metadata

Keyword integration in copy
Writing metadata, including tagging, page titles, page descriptions, teasers, and snippets
Quality assurance

Self-editing
Editing/proofing materials produced by others in house and across clients
Implementing revisions
Ensuring deliverables match clients’ (brand, style, tone, messaging, technical/industry terminology)
Requirements & Responsibilities

Minimum 3 years writing conversion- and results-oriented marketing copy and long-form content
Direct experience through education/training and work in content marketing campaign coordination and program building
Proven experience and competency in understanding and writing about complex technical subject matter—and turning it into understandable and consumable information
Interviewing and interacting with technical subject matter experts
Writing SEO-rich content and optimizing content for keywords
Solid understanding of grammatical and editorial conventions
Ability to manage multiple, often unrelated, writing projects at one time
Ability to understand and speak to multiple stakeholder points of view, pains, and needs
Ability to provide a logical and systematic approach to project completion
Educational background that includes an emphasis on writing (e.g., English, journalism, marketing, history)
Understanding of B2B marketing and the B2B buyer journey
Experience working as part of a collaborative marketing team
Curiosity about a variety of subjects, even when they are unfamiliar
Desire to helping people find solutions they need and solve real-life problems
Pride in the quality of work produced
Confidence in the value of content marketing
