The company currently owns and operates two fast-casual restaurant brands, Lemonade Restaurant Group and Modern Market Eatery. MRC has a national presence with significant room for expansion.
Modern Market Eatery is a food-forward, sustainable fast-casual restaurant concept that operates in Colorado, Texas, Arizona and the campus at Notre Dame. Delivering the freshness and flavors of the market in a modern dining format and environment, Modern Market's menu of protein-centric bowls, garden fresh salads, toasted sandwiches and brick oven pizzas redefine what it means to eat well at a reasonable price.
Lemonade is a California-based modern cafeteria-style fast-casual concept serving a colorful bounty of seasonal, California-inspired fare. Raising the standard of quality and freshness in the industry, Lemonade entices time-crunched but food-savvy individuals with the simple allure of beautifully prepared salads, hearty braised meats, satisfying sandwiches, decadent desserts, and thirst-quenching, handcrafted lemonades.
MRC is searching for a content and social media marketer (i.e., copy writer, social aficionado, brand steward, PR maverick) in the Denver area. The content and social media marketer reports directly to the VP of marketing and is responsible for, but not limited to, social media management, copywriting, content creation, brand management, and storyline development across all MRC brands.

Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or related fields.
5+ years experience in the marketing/communications field, including experience as a copywriter, social media manager, PR manager and/or brand manager.
Proven ability to maintain a brand voice, seamlessly and consistently write in various styles, effectively write in both long- and short-form (e.g., quippy headlines and blog posts), and shift between different brand voices continually. Proven ability to write smart, witty content, particularly about food, ingredients, cooking and all things culinary.
A love of words, cleverly written headlines, inspiring quotes and smartly wordsmithed copy.
Proficient in social media management, influencer marketing and building an engaged online following.
Highly skilled in all social media platforms with proven experience growing a following and successfully launching and managing new social media channels.
Experience developing and managing editorial and marketing calendars.
Analytics and metrics measurement experience required.
Independent, dependable go-getter with a demonstrated ability to manage successful projects from ideation to completion.
Proven ability to prioritize and strategize in order to focus on sales building initiatives and positive results.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, professionalism and accountability.
Ability to thrive in a high-demand environment.
Extremely organized, detail-oriented self-starter who enjoys working within a small team and small company.
Capable of working autonomously, creatively problem-solving along the way and wearing many hats.

Ability to form strong working relationships with restaurant management and community partners.
Must be dedicated and not afraid of hard work.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Google Drive Suite and Facebook Ads Manager.
General knowledge of search engine optimization and internet ranking for web content.
Ability to work some nights and weekends.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop and/or maintain brand voice for each MRC brand.
Write both short- and long-form copy for all brand assets, including emails, blog posts, website content, social captions and community management, SMS and push notifications, advertisements, apps, internal communication, and any other necessary content.
Write for search engine optimization and inbound traffic generation.
Support new menu rollouts through menu and collateral editing and proofreading.
Social Media & Community Management:
Develop and maintain day-to-day social media for the company’s brands.
Lead ongoing community management on all social channels, including replying to all inquiries, engaging with guests, holding giveaways and awarding winners, leading contests, and more.
Work within marketing and sales team to develop social media campaigns that help achieve overall marketing and sales goals.
Develop and execute actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers on all social channels.
Develop and maintain editorial calendars that correspond with marketing calendars.
Create, curate, and/or manage all published content (images, video, written and audio).
Hire and/or work with photographers to continuously develop unique and on-brand social content.
Post according to editorial calendar cadence and ensure brand consistency.
Monitor, listen and respond to users ensuring brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology.
Stay up to date on relevant and trending social topics, and regularly propose new social media initiatives that will engage target audience.
Create guest engagement and interaction, and respond to guest inquiries and issues.
Work with guest relations and restaurant operations to reply to guest inquiries and issues as needed.
Own social branding (e.g., keep social homepage graphics up to date at all times).
Help manage and execute best-in-class partnerships/brand ambassadors program that increases awareness and grows following.
Measure and report on social media KPIs across all platforms and create strategies to continuously improve.
Own photoshoot production through creative theme development, scheduling, photographer coordination, shot list maintenance, ingredient, prop and backdrop management, on-site direction and time management, food styling and any other requirement.
Develop creative briefs for artwork production, manage production schedule and help maintain brand consistency.
Storytelling and PR:
Develop campaign storylines and execute across all marketing channels.
Partner with vendors to tell the story of MRC’s brands through their products and services, and support vendor needs and requests to tell MRC’s brands’ stories on their channels.
Support new menu rollouts by helping develop rollout themes, creating and plotting storylines, drafting creative briefs and content, and helping oversee collateral and asset creation.
Help manage media relations through editorial calendar maintenance, press release development, story pitching, interview facilitation and PR agency management.
Manage relevant areas of marketing budget to achieve goals while staying within allocated financial plan.
