Description

Purpose

 

The Marketing Manager is the company’s strategic partner who will focus to develop, in conjunction with external agency partners and/or internal clients, effective marketing plan(s) including a budget, timelines, logistics, and execution. The Marketing Manager collaborates with Retail, Wholesale, and other departments and relevant opportunities and deliver marketing materials that align with LivWell’s accord with the overall brand strategy, as directed by the Vice President of Marketing.

 

Essential Duties

 

Media Marketing

Develop paid media plans for targeted consumer and member segments
Managing and executing all print, digital, display, online and additional paid advertising efforts
Maintenance of all directory services (i.e., Leafbuyer, Weedmaps, etc.) as well as Google business listings, ratings, and reviews, including setting up a directory for wholesale partner listings
Maintain and edit CMS website(s) as needed for product updates and new product launches

New Product Brand Development

Produce effective sales enablement materials, such as sales sheets, FAQs, and competitive information, making it easy for retail and wholesale teams to understand product offerings and key positioning
Manage the marketing calendar for new products; Understand the cannabis market and seasonality of specific products
Develop processes and marketing initiatives to ensure optimal timing of messaging
Develop a deep understanding of the market and the demand characteristics of the market
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize each accordingly

Partnerships and Events

Seek out, develop, and execute events on behalf of LivWell and partners that align with agency brand, consumers, and members
Network and establish partnerships with local businesses and organizations to positively impact the LivWell brand
Deliver positive ROI to brands in partnership with LivWell by leveraging resources such as social presence, influencer program, giveaways, and in-store pop-ups/events
Develop recap reports measuring value and ROI of partnerships, sponsorships, and events

Additional Responsibilities/Duties

 

Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work.
Development, management, and tracking of annual marketing budget with emphasis on ROI
Ongoing integration with retail division to ensure consistency of marketing materials at all retail locations, proper signage, and current brand representation
Strategic contribution to the development of consumer and member personas, segmentation profiling, and brand identity model
Interface with traffic coordinator to monitor and track weekly hot list of deliverables for marketing team projects and initiatives
Mentorship of junior level team members
Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work.

 

Job Qualifications

 

Work Experience

 

Excellent media marketing and planning skills abilities, particularly in digital, print, social media, events, and sponsorships outdoor
B2B experience and brand marketing experience preferred
Integrated production campaign experience 
Cannabis marketing industry experience a plus
Campaign creative, concept testing and research experience a plus
Works well under pressure, thriving under tight deadlines, and staying within budget
Communicates effectively in oral and written form
Demonstrates a high level of organization and time management
Proficiency in Google Docs, Office Suite, additional programs as necessary
Establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by job responsibility
Listen effectively, assesses the situation, determine relevant issues, and suggest solutions
Must be able to secure appropriate work credentials from the Colorado Department of Revenue, Marijuana Enforcement Division

 

Education

 

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or related field or 4 years equivalent experience required.

Working Conditions

 

Able to use a computer for extended periods of time
Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing, or retail environment
Able to perform general office managerial and administrative activities
Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
Regular and on-time attendance
Hours regularly exceed 40 hours per week
Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle, and the like within the region and to other locations as required
Starting Salary is $75,000 annually. Negotiable, depending on experience
